One of the sweetest friends I have is taking an interpreting test in Brussels tomorrow (or today in fact if it's already Tuesday where you are), and I'm almost as nervous as she is. (Well, maybe that's a slight exaggeration given what I'm sure she's going through, but I *am* nervous!)
We've been practising away for the last few weeks and I just know she can do it, so I'm really going to be crossing all my fingers and thumbs tomorrow... which will of course make it a bit difficult to type.
As for me? Well I'm feeling quite good about the world at the moment, as it happens... the last two family health scares have turned out to be much less serious than first thought, I'm still really enjoying my job, and one way and another I'm feeling ever more... integrated into my new homeland... which is nice... ahem...
