Congratulations to Leah, who passed her test today. I was on stand-by at work this morning, which meant that I was able to sit outside the room waiting like in some cheap US hospital drama. And it took *ages*! Since the tests are eliminatory, the longer it takes the better, mais quand-même!
I don't think Leah will mind me saying that she doesn't have the most self-confidence of all the people I know, and so it's particularly gratifying when you've been urging a friend to believe in their abilities for ages and ages and they finally do so, and then are successful.
Sorry - I'll have to stop as this is beginning to get as gushy as a bad Oscars Night speech. But who cares! She passed. Job done.

I know how much you must be looking forward to working with her in the English booth!
